We laced up the Irish Setter Wingshooter ST work boots and set out to see if they lived up to their heritage look and modern-safety promises. At first glance, the classic upland-inspired styling fooled us into thinking these were more for the field than the jobsite, but the non-metallic safety toe and robust outsole quickly proved otherwise. Throughout long days on wet concrete and muddy lots, the waterproof leather and UltraDry lining kept our feet dry without feeling swampy. The 6-inch height struck a comfortable balance between ankle support and flexibility, and break-in time was surprisingly short.
