These boots are close to perfect, just change out the insoles with some decent ones and waterproof them with Sno Seal.
I have these boots and the soles have worn smooth in 9 months. I only wear them at my part time job on a railyard 2-3 days a week. They are comfortable but they don't last.
Just got my Pit Boss wide width boots today, and I have rarely have found a more comfortable boot right off (and, I've tried many different brands). Also, very light too. I've heard many folks' say these are heavy no, I've tried some boots that felt like boat anchors on my feet — even carrying them in the box felt light to me. Definitely my "go to" choice now when they wear out.
Are these boots good for Indoor Industrial setting? Particularly metalworking (waterproof/safe/electrical)?

i have had many diff models of timberland boots…most if them only lasted 8-9 months until i bought the timberland boondock composite toe boots…i get 15 months out of them
