Testing TIDEWE’s 16″ Hunting Boots in the Wild
Stepping into the woods before dawn, we quickly learned that TIDEWE’s 16″ Hunting Boots are built for more than just catalog photos. The 6mm neoprene hugged our calves snugly without feeling constricting, and the rubber exterior shrugged off wet grass, shallow creek crossings, and a surprise mud pit with equal ease. Our feet stayed dry throughout, and the 400g insulation kept the morning chill at bay without turning our socks into a sweaty mess once the sun came up. Traction was reliable on slick leaves and uneven roots, though we did notice the boots feel slightly bulky during longer hikes. Still, for stationary sits in a blind or slow, methodical stalks, these TIDEWE boots gave us the kind of warmth and waterproof protection we usually expect from pricier brands.
