When we laced up Carhartt’s 6″ Moc Toe Workhorse, we immediately understood why this style has such a loyal following. The oil‑tanned leather feels rugged yet surprisingly supple, molding to our feet after just a few wears. On wet mornings and muddy job sites, the waterproof membrane and wedge traction outsole did most of the worrying for us, keeping our socks dry and our footing confident. We also appreciated the FastDry lining, which handled long, humid shifts better than we expected. While the moc toe look leans classic and casual, the EH rating and dual‑density sole remind us that this boot is built for serious work, not just weekend projects.
