Testing Thorogood’s American Heritage Work Boots

From the first lace-up, we could tell the Thorogood Men’s American Heritage 6″ Moc Toe boots were built with a purpose beyond looks. The tobacco-colored leather felt substantial without being stiff, and as we walked across gravel, concrete, and slick shop floors, the MAXwear Wedge outsole kept our footing secure. We appreciated that these are non-safety toe boots-lighter, more flexible, and easier to wear all day-yet they still feel reassuringly solid. Over the course of our testing, the moc toe design broke in comfortably, molding to our feet instead of simply softening. They’re not trying to be flashy; they’re trying to be reliable. And in our time with them, that’s exactly what they were.
