When we laced up the Georgia Boot Men’s Wedge Industrial Boot for the first time, we immediately understood why it’s often called a workhorse. The moc-toe styling and classic wedge outsole give it a laid-back, almost heritage look, but this isn’t just a fashion boot playing dress-up on the jobsite. The oil-tanned leather feels sturdy yet pliable, and the cushioned insole surprised us with how quickly it broke in during a full shift. We did notice the wedge sole offers excellent stability on flat surfaces, though it’s less at home on uneven terrain. Still, for long days on concrete or in the shop, these boots strike a convincing balance between comfort, durability, and understated style-without trying too hard to impress.

When we laced up the BRUNT Perkins Waterproof Work Boot, it was clear this boot is built for long days and unpredictable conditions. The 6″ brown wedge design strikes a balance between a classic workwear look and modern practicality, with the defined heel adding welcome stability on ladders and uneven ground. We appreciated the adjustable width system, which let us fine-tune the fit instead of settling for “almost right.” On wet concrete and oily shop floors, the slip- and oil-resistant outsole held its own, and the waterproof construction kept our feet dry without feeling swampy.
