Introducing the Timberland Pro 9-Inch Rip Saw Logger Boots
The Timberland Pro 9-Inch Rip Saw Logger Boots are durable brown boots crafted with waterproof leather and a waterproof membrane coating to ensure your feet remain dry, regardless of the weather. They are equipped with Flex technology to offer optimal wearer comfort and prevent water from entering the shoe. The boots' steel toe and steel shank offer added protection and safety, making these boots ideal for working professionals and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Let's take a closer look at these boots and their many features.
Dual Purpose Hardware and Low-Profile Hook
These boots come with dual-purpose hardware up top, enabling you to lace through the eyelet or go around the hook. This is a convenient feature to help match one's preference and provide optimum support to your feet. There is also a low-profile hook that comes in rotating designs, ensuring minimal hooking on unnecessary objects while working or climbing.
Convenient Pull-on Flaps and Steel Toe Support
To help with getting the boot on quickly and comfortably, Timberland has included grips on the top and small flap on both sides. The steel toe meets safety requirements and provides additional protection and a comfortable fit. Furthermore, the steel shanked boots run down the width and the length, making them perfect for climbing.
High Heel Traction and Mesh Lining
These boots feature high heel traction, also known as ladder lock, which is great for sport climbing as well. The mesh lining is anti-microbial, which reduces bacterial growth and helps in preventing bad odor.
Timberland Pro's Independent Suspension Network
The Timberland Pro independent suspension network is an anti-fatigue system designed to absorb shock and ensure you do not tire out quickly. The Vibram soles provide excellent traction, durability, and are non-slip, non-marking, and oil-resistant.
Meeting Safety Criteria
These boots meet several safety criteria, such as I-75, C-75, and ASTM standards, ensuring they are electrically safe and the steel toe meets the criteria for a safety shoe. The welds on these boots are made from genuine leather with a Goodyear bond to prevent the upper and lower parts from tearing.
Size and Fit
The boots come in various sizes, with the recommendation to go half a size larger than your regular shoe size to accommodate thick socks comfortably.
Timberland Pro's Guarantee and Care Instructions
These boots come with a 30-day guarantee, allowing you to return them for a full refund if you are not satisfied with their performance within that time frame. Unfortunately, there are no care instructions included with the purchase of these boots, so first-time boot buyers may need to do some research to ensure proper maintenance and longevity.
Pros and Cons
The Timberland Pro 9-Inch Rip Saw Logger Boots have numerous positive aspects:
- Waterproof membrane and Flex technology
- Dual-purpose hardware and low-profile hook
- Anti-microbial mesh lining
- Independent suspension network
- Vibram soles for improved traction
However, there are a few cons as well:
- Lack of care instructions
- Reduced mobility due to steel shank and toe
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Timberland Pro 9-Inch Rip Saw Logger Boots seem to be a great investment for those working in tough conditions or participating in outdoor activities. The waterproof material, low-profile hook, steel toe, and shank, as well as Vibram soles, make this boot a reliable choice. While there are a few drawbacks, such as reduced ankle mobility and no care instructions, these boots remain an excellent option for those seeking durability and comfort.
My ripsaws look different than his. The stitching for the lace holes on mine come down to the bottom of tongue then drops down to the seam on both sides. I’m not sure if I’m correct but I think his are the buzz saw rather than rip saw. Please let me know. Thx. I just realized his may be an older model
Great review.
You can climb in these?!?!?
I have a pair & love them!!👍
Thanks for your service
they don't have a steel toe. I would recommend actually knowing a thing or two about the boots you're reviewing before you go and say something incorrect like claiming they have a steel toe which they do not. https://www.timberland.com/shop/mens-timberland-pro-rip-saw-comp-toe-logger-boots-89656214
