When we first laced up the BRUNT Men’s Marin Water-Resistant Work Boots, we were curious whether they could balance jobsite toughness with everyday comfort. The Marin looks understated-no flashy logos or aggressive tread patterns-yet it feels intentionally built. The uppers shed light rain and splashes without turning our feet into saunas, and the break‑in period was surprisingly short for a boot in this category. We noticed the midsole has enough cushioning for long days on concrete, but still feels stable when we’re climbing ladders or carrying gear. While these aren’t the bulkiest, most heavy-duty boots we’ve tested, they seem well-suited to tradespeople and DIYers who split time between rough work and errands around town.
